Mark Noble: 'European dream is still on'

West Ham midfielder Mark Noble remains confident that the Hammers can still qualify for Europe despite their late setback at Tottenham.

Mark Noble has insisted that West Ham United can put Sunday's 2-2 draw at Tottenham Hotspur behind them and still secure European football next season.

Sam Allardyce's side looked on course to move within six points of the top four at White Hart Lane yesterday before Harry Kane struck a last-minute winner to rescue the hosts.

The Hammers sit eighth in the Premier League, seven points off a Europa League spot, but Noble can see no reason why the East Londoners cannot bridge that gap over the next 12 games.

He told the club's official website: "To be 2-0 up and not win is massively disappointing but I still think we played well.

"We put a lot of effort into the Manchester United game and then had nine men for 20 minutes away at Southampton, West Brom was one game too many really.

"But today was much better, we showed what we can do when we're all fully fit. If we play like that for the rest of the season we still have a great chance of Europe."

The Irons, who have lost just one of seven league outings in 2015, host Crystal Palace at Upton Park this Saturday.
