West Ham United assistant manager Nikola Jurcevic has said that he can see similarities to a number of Croatian stars in Dimitri Payet and Manuel Lanzini.
Jurcevic, who is second in command to Slaven Bilic, has said that the West Ham duo remind him of previous Croatia players Zvonimir Boban and Robert Prosinecki, as well as current midfielders Luka Modric and Ivan Rakitic.
"Sometimes when I have spoken with Slaven or when I talk with my friends, I make some comparisons with players from before like Boban or Prosinecki, or for example players now like Modric and Rakitic," Jurcevic told the club's official website.
"We also have those type of players in Payet and Lanzini."
Payet has netted five goals since arriving from Marseille in the summer, while Lanzini has found the back of the net twice following his move from Al Jazira Club.
