West Ham confirm that Mohamed Diame could be ruled out for up to three months with a hamstring injury.

West Ham United have confirmed that Mohamed Diame could be ruled out for up to 12 weeks with a hamstring injury.

The midfielder was taken off in the 73rd minute of the Hammers' 3-2 defeat to Liverpool at Upton Park on Sunday.

Diame has featured in all of West Ham's Premier League fixtures this season.

The hosts had led 2-1 against Liverpool before a Jordan Henderson strike and a James Collins own goal turned the match around.
