Jack Collison eyes Christmas return

West Ham United midfielder Jack Collison has revealed that he could make his return from injury by Christmas.

The 24-year-old has failed to feature for the Hammers this season due to a chronic knee problem.

"Hopefully, around Christmas time I should be in the mix," he said. "I feel good and I'm just dying to get going in the Premier League.

"The surgeon is a bit of a magician so hopefully he's sorted me out this time."

Collison was part of the West Ham side that gained promotion to the Premier League last season.
