West Ham United co-chairman David Gold has suggested that Andy Carroll is likely to be back in action in September.
Carroll missed the end of last season after damaging the medial ligaments in his knee in February, but the Hammers could welcome back their club-record signing in the early stages of the campaign.
Andy Carroll is training hard and getting stronger. We are hopeful that he will be available early September. dg https://t.co/ZXS0TAeubg— David Gold (@davidgold) July 14, 2015
Carroll scored five goals in 12 Premier League appearances last season.
