West Brom's second Ridgewell bid rejected

Birmingham City have turned down a second bid from West Bromwich Albion for Liam Ridgewell, according to Sky Sports News.

Baggies manager Roy Hodgson was unsuccessful with a first offer for the 27-year-old last week.

The Premier League club have now returned with improved terms but it has not matched Birmingham's valuation of the defender.

Ridgewell has been previously linked with moves to Everton, Newcastle United and Queens Park Rangers.
