West Brom to move for Northampton keeper?

West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Northampton Town goalkeeper Richard O'Donnell as a replacement for Ben Foster.

O'Donnell has previously played alongside West Brom coach Neil Cutler during their time together at League One side Walsall.

Meanwhile, Foster has been linked with a move to Watford following the Baggies' relegation to the Championship, and the Express & Star claims that the club see O'Donnell as their potential number one next season.

The report adds that discussions have already taken place between West Brom and Northampton over a potential deal as Cutler rates him very highly.

O'Donnell only joined the Cobblers in January on a two-and-a-half-year contract.
