West Brom 'plot £3m Chester move'

West Bromwich Albion manager Tony Pulis will reportedly try to sign Hull City's James Chester this summer, if the Tigers are relegated.

According to The Mirror, the Baggies are keen on a deal for the ex-Manchester United utility man and will pounce once the season is complete.

It is thought that Pulis is looking to add Chester's versatility to his squad, but the West Midlands outfit may be forced to pay £3m to sign the Welsh international, who was bought by ex-Hull boss Nigel Pearson.

Meanwhile, Hull loan player Gaston Ramirez is set to leave the Tigers, with parent club Southampton looking to sell the Uruguayan to Inter Milan for £5.25m.

Saints paid £12m for Ramirez when he was signed from Bologna three seasons ago.
