Brown Ideye cleared to link up with West Bromwich Albion

Brown Ideye has confirmed that he has been granted a visa and will be linking up with West Bromwich Albion in the near future.

The Baggies are believed to have paid around £10m to bring the Nigeria striker to the club last month, but he had to remain in his homeland while a visa issue was resolved.

However, he wrote on Twitter: "So happy to announce that my visa has been issued, will join the team ASAP."

Ideye scored 33 goals in three seasons with Dynamo Kier.
