Agent: 'Gabriel Tamas wants West Bromwich Albion stay'

The agent of West Bromwich Albion defender Gabriel Tamas has claimed that his client wants to remain at the club this summer.

The 29-year-old, who has one year remaining on his current deal with the Baggies, struggled for first-team action last season.

However, John Kirtland told the Birmingham Mail: "Gabi is ready to come back to West Brom for pre-season and fight for a place in the team."

Tamas joined West Brom from Auxerre in 2010.
