Preview: West Bromwich Albion vs. Crystal Palace

West Brom vs. Crystal Palace

West Bromwich Albion host Crystal Palace on Saturday hoping to return to winning ways after failing to build on their impressive triumph over Manchester United.

The Baggies have gone three games without a victory since stunning United at Old Trafford, but head coach Steve Clarke will be confident of defeating Crystal Palace.

Clarke could hand a starting role to striker Shane Long, who came off the bench to replace the out-of-form Nicolas Anelka last weekend.

Crystal Palace have lost their last six Premier League fixtures, and it was that form that ultimately resulted in the departure of manager Ian Holloway.

Caretaker boss Keith Millen would have been impressed with his side's resolve against Arsenal last weekend and may opt to retain the same lineup that began at Selhurst Park.
