Ben Watson: 'Watford have to bounce back from Crystal Palace defeat'

Watford midfielder Ben Watson is adamant that he and his teammates have to bounce back from their defeat to Crystal Palace against Bournemouth at Dean Court.

Watford midfielder Ben Watson has insisted that his side have to get back to winning ways in their Premier League clash against Bournemouth.

The Hornets saw their run of back-to-back victories in the top flight ended by Crystal Palace as Yohan Cabaye's strike from the penalty spot in the 71st minute decided the contest.

However, Watson is adamant that his side have to bounce back when they take on Bournemouth at Dean Court.

"It's been an excellent start, we've lost two in seven, but you look at those games and there hasn't been a lot in it," Watson told the club's official website.

"You look at the game on Sunday and it looked like the first team to score would go on and win it, and that's how it felt playing. There was nothing in the game, unfortunately they got the penalty and they scored it.

"We have to look at the positives from the first seven games and keep on going, because Saturday, Bournemouth away, these are the games that will keep us in the league, and we need to win them. Both teams signed a lot of players in the summer, and there's no easy games in this league. It's going to be tough, but we have to go there and get back to winning ways."

Watford are 13th in the Premier League after seven matches this season.
