Watford midfielder Almen Abdi has revealed that he was delighted to extend his stay with the club.
The 28-year-old penned a three-year contract extension with the Hornets as his current deal was due to expire at the end of next season.
Abdi has admitted that he is relishing playing in the Premier League for the first time in his career after committing his future to the team.
"It wasn't a difficult decision for me to sign a new contract," Abdi told the club's official website.
"I remember when I first came here I liked it from the first day and the people welcomed me straight away.
"I like the English mentality and English football, and it's a dream come true for me to play in the Premier League next season."
The Swiss has made 92 appearances in three years at Vicarage Road, scoring 23 goals.
