Walsall extend Michael Cain loan

Walsall have extended the loan of Leicester City midfielder Michael Cain for another month.

The 19-year-old, who joined the Saddlers on October 20, was due to return to the Premier League club this week.

Cain has made six appearances for Walsall since his arrival at the Banks's Stadium.

"I knew this was a tough league but it's been a challenge that I have thrived on," the teenager told the club's official website.

"The coaching staff and my teammates have been unbelievable and, even though I've only been here a month, I feel that I have learned a lot already."

Walsall are back in action tonight when they travel to Shrewsbury Town for an FA Cup first-round replay.
