Ashley Williams: 'Wales won't fear Belgium'

Williams: 'Wales won't fear Belgium'

Wales captain Ashley Williams has insisted that his side will carry "no fear" into their Euro 2016 qualifier against Belgium next month.

Chris Coleman's side currently sit top of Group B having amassed seven points from their opening three qualifying games, while Belgium are three points behind with a game in hand.

The Red Devils are expected to top the group at the end of the qualifying campaign, but Williams insists that his side will not be scared of taking on such formidable opponents.

"We've got respect for Belgium because they've got great players. It's a tough game next but we have to go with no fear because in the last three games we've really stood together," Williams told reporters.

"But we'll also be clever and respect the opponent we're playing. I'm not sure yet how we'll go about it, but we'll have a gameplan and we'll stick to it."

Wales, who beat Cyprus 2-1 at the Cardiff City Stadium last night, face Belgium away on November 16.
