Neil Taylor: 'Wales victory needed against Cyprus'

Taylor: 'We need to beat Cyprus'

Wales defender Neil Taylor has admitted that his nation "need" three points against Cyprus in order to keep their Euro 2016 qualifying campaign on track.

Chris Coleman's side currently have four points on the board after earning a 2-1 victory over Andorra and a goalless draw with Bosnia-Herzegovina.

Tonight, Wales will take on Cyprus, who have collected three points over two games in their qualifying campaign.

"We've said 100 times in interviews that we haven't started well enough in other campaigns," South Wales Evening Post quotes Taylor as saying. "On Friday we did absolutely everything we could, from the keeper right up to the front players.

"It's a rule in football that the next result determines how good a draw is. Probably a win is what we need. They'll be gutsy, they'll put everything out on the line, but we know what we've got to do."

Wales have no fresh injury concerns heading into tonight's home fixture.
