Robson-Kanu: 'Hard to describe feeling'

Hal Robson-Kanu has admitted that "it is hard to describe" what he felt after playing a key role in Wales's 3-1 win over Belgium in the quarter-finals of Euro 2016 on Friday night.

Robson-Kanu scored his team's second on the night, before Sam Vokes added a third in the latter stages to help Wales secure their spot in the semi-finals of the European Championships.

The Dragons will take on Portugal in the last-four stage of the competition next week and Robson-Kanu has insisted that his team "stand a good chance" of winning the whole tournament.

"It was fantastic. We did well to get back into the game. We knew that if we played in the second half how he played in the first, then we could get our just rewards and that was it," Robson-Kanu told BBC Sport.

"It is hard to describe. It is something that we have worked so hard for. It is credit to everyone involved and long may it continue. We have played Belgium a few times over the last few years and we know how to play against them. It was disappointing to go 1-0 down, but we kept to our game-plan, kept moving the ball.

"We have world-class players in our team and defensively we can be as solid as a rock. With those two combined, we stand a good chance."

Robson-Kanu is currently a free agent after his Reading contract expired.
