Result: Wales 2-1 Montenegro

Wales earned a morale-boosting 2-1 win against Montenegro in their Euro 2012 qualifying group game in Cardiff.

The home side were ahead at half-time thanks to Steve Morison sliding the ball home.

The hosts extended their lead after the break when Aaron Ramsey connected with Gareth Bale's cutback to sweep in a low finish.

Stevan Jovetic lashed in a response on 70 minutes for the visitors to set up a nervy final 20 minutes for Gary Speed's men, but they managed to hold on for the win.

Wales remain bottom of Group G and next face group leaders England at Wembley on Tuesday.
