Vitoria de Guimaraes, Belenenses play out draw in Primeira Liga clash

Fabio Sturgeon earns Belenenses a point in their clash against Vitoria de Guimaraes as he cancels out Ricardo Oliveira's opener.

Vitoria de Guimaraes and Belenenses played out a 1-1 draw in their Primeira Liga clash this evening.

The home side took the lead in the 19th minute when Ricardo Oliveira held his composure to fire past Hugo Ventura.

Vitoria pushed for a second goal, but the visitors proved to be resolute at the back to keep them at bay and leave the score at 1-0 at the break.

In the second half, the home side continued their quest to kill off the game, but couldn't add to the scoreline.

Belenenses then earned a point from the clash when Fabio Sturgeon found the net in the 75th minute.
