Jonathan Pereira pleased with Marcelino Garcia Toral renewal

Villarreal winger Jonathan Pereira has revealed that the team are "all happy" that head coach Marcelino Garcia Toral has signed a new contract with the Yellow Submarine.

Marcelino, whose new deal will run until 2016, has led the Spanish outfit into fourth place in the La Liga table after 13 matches.

"The coach's work has been very good. We have accomplished many things with him at the helm," Pereira told reporters at a press conference.

"We are all happy that he will continue with us. Marcelino is probably the best coach I have worked with. Hopefully we'll get to spend a lot more time together."

Pereira started his youth career at Villarreal, before joining Real Betis in 2010.
