Jose Gaya: 'Marcelo best left-back in the world'

Valencia defender Jose Gaya has said that he believes Real Madrid's Marcelo is the best left-back in the world.

The 20-year-old's form has led to a host of speculation regarding his long-term future.

The Spanish international signed a new long-term deal with Los Che earlier this summer, however, committing his future to the Spanish club until at least June 2020.

During a Q&A on Valencia's official website, the youngster was asked who he believes is currently the best left-sided full-back in the world, to which he replied simply "Marcelo".

Gaya made 37 first-team appearances for Valencia last season and appeared in all but three of their La Liga fixtures last term.
