Luis Suarez brace fires Uruguay to Copa America final

A quick-fire brace from Luis Suarez gave Uruguay a 2-0 victory over 10-man Peru to send them through to the final of the Copa America last night.

The Liverpool striker scored twice in five second-half minutes in La Plata to keep Uruguay's hopes alive of winning a record 15th Copa title.

The 24-year-old is now joint top scorer in the tournament, tying with Argentina's Sergio Aguero on three goals.

Paraguay face Venezuela in the second semi-final tonight.
