Jan Vertonghen's agent has claimed that Bayern Munich have made no contact with Ajax regarding the defender's availability.
Bayern are believed to be keen on signing a centre-back in the summer and recent reports had linked them with the Belgian international.
Despite admitting that a number of clubs are interested in his client, a spokesman of his agent told Goal.com that no formal offers had been made.
"[Bayern] have not contacted us. It's not the first time that I hear something about this, but I can't do much with it at this point," said the spokesman.
"The English and German press have written stories like this before. Things will only get serious when a club approach Ajax though, and that has not happened yet as far as I know.
"However, I can reveal that there is plenty of interest from abroad."
Vertonghen, 24, is expected to leave Ajax in the summer.
