Frederic Kanoute has brought an end to his seven-year spell with Spanish side Sevilla.
The former West Ham United and Tottenham Hotspur striker has decided to swap southern Spain for Chinese club Beijing Guoan.
Having scored 136 goals in 290 games for Sevilla, a statement on the club's official website paid tribute to the 34-year-old's contribution.
"The legendary Sevilla player, arguably the best in recent times and perhaps in history, has been signed by the Beijing Guoan for two seasons," read the statement.
The former Mali centre-forward has signed a two-year deal with Guoan.
