10.41pmDONE DEAL! Sunderland have confirmed the signing of Welsh international full-back Adam Matthews from Celtic for £2m. The former Cardiff City man has penned a four-year deal at the Stadium of Light.

10.17pmWest Ham United's move for Juventus and Italy defender Angelo Ogbonna is closer to being finalised according to reports, but the Hammers could still face competition for his signature from Everton.

9.23pmGhana international Baba Rahman of Augsburg is edging closer to a move to Premier League champions Chelsea, according to reports. However, Arsenal could still make a move for the full-back.

8.45pmAnderlecht's in-demand striker Aleksandar Mitrovic is now attracting interest from Tottenham Hotspur, as well as Chelsea and Roma, according to reports.

8.26pmDONE DEAL! Another bit of business all wrapped up as Wigan Athletic prepare for life in League One by securing the signature of Tranmere Rovers captain Max Power.

7.50pmDONE DEAL! A bit of news from Europe as Roma's promising young Swedish striker Valmir Berisha completes a move to Eredivisie side Cambuur.

6.16pmBirmingham City have loaned winger Mark Duffy to League One outfit Burton Albion until the beginning of January.

6.00pmCrystal Palace defender Jack Hunt is reportedly on the verge of a loan move to Sheffield Wednesday. He has previously enjoyed short-term spells at Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United, but has never played for Palace.

5.59pmBarcelona defender Martin Montoya has completed a loan move to Inter Milan. The deal includes the option of making the transfer for the Spain Under-23 international permanent.

5.28pmEuropa League holders Sevilla have reached an agreement with La Liga rivals Getafe for the transfer of Sergio Escudero. He will sign a four-year contract, upon the successful completion of a medical.

5.16pmArda Turan has been strongly linked with a move away from Atletio Madrid this summer, and now his former teammate Diego Costa has said that it would be fantastic if he joined him at Stamford Bridge.

5.00pmDONE DEAL! Inter Milan have completed the signing of Jeison Murillo from Granada. The Colombian, who scored against Brazil last month, has inked a five-year deal with the Nerazzurri.

4.33pmDONE DEAL! Italian champions Juventus have completed the signing of goalkeeper Neto. He had been out of contract at Fiorentina and has now signed a four-year deal with the Bianconeri.

3.57pmBREAKING NEWS Watford have confirmed that Troy Deeney has agreed a new five-year contract with the Premier League new boys. He scored 21 goals to help them win promotion to the top flight last season and his club will be hoping he can take that form into the new campaign.

3.48pmRiver Plate have completed the double signing of Javier Saviola and Pablo Aimar. The two have enjoyed successful careers in Europe, but they have now returned to play for their former club.

3.30pmChelsea youngster Mario Pasalic has joined Monaco on a season-long loan, on the same day that Radamel Falcao has moved in the opposite direction.

3.14pmWatford confirmed yesterday that they had signed Jose Holebas from Roma, but the Greek international has today claimed that he has not signed a contract with the Premier League club.

3.01pmBREAKING! Derby County trigger a release clause in Tom Ince's Hull City contract to sign the England Under-21 international on a permanent deal. He spent time on loan with the Rams last season.

3.00pmSteven Gerrard has been speaking about his move to the Los Angeles Galaxy and revealed that he turned down some "nice opportunities" to stay in Europe.

11.02amTime for a couple of transfer stories concerning Football League clubs. First, it's good news for Burnley supporters as long-serving defender Michael Duff has signed a new one-year contract at the club. It's not such good news for Wigan Athletic, however, as Dundee United striker Nadir Ciftci has reportedly turned down their approach.

10.22amWe learnt last month that highly-rated Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph could be signed for just £8m this summer due to a loophole in his contract. If reports are to be believed, then Manchester City will complete a deal for the Englishman in the coming days to boost their home-grown rota ahead of the new campaign.

10.03amMumbai City FC have this morning announced that former Arsenal, Liverpool and Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has returned to the club as their marquee signing.

9.47amThere's been plenty of talk over the past 24 hours or so surrounding players who could be joining Arsenal this summer, but what about those going the other way? The Express claims that Santi Cazorla is still a target for Atletico Madrid, who are ready to step up their interest in the Spaniard by making an official approach.

9.15amFenerbahce announced last night that a deal to sign Nani from Manchester United was close to being completed, well reports suggest that the two clubs have agreed on a £4.25m fee for the winger.

8.49amStoke City are pushing their luck. As well as asking for £8m for Asmir Begovic, they also want to sign a Chelsea youngster on loan.

8.31amAre Liverpool looking to end Javier Manquillo's loan one year early? The right back has made just three appearances in 2015, none of them in the league, and Nathaniel Clyne's arrival won't help matters.

Belgian midfielder Dennis Praet could be on his way to England, Stoke's Steven N'Zonzi may be moving to European big boys Monaco or Sevilla, and Younes Kaboul and Aaron Lennon might be used in a bid to lure Everton's James McCarthy to White Hart Lane.
