Report: Jack Hunt set for Sheffield Wednesday loan switch

Crystal Palace right-back Jack Hunt has reportedly moved a step closer to joining Sheffield Wednesday on loan for the 2015-16 season.

Hunt, 24, has never played for Palace since signing a four-year contract in 2013, last season spending time on loan at Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United.

According to BBC Radio Sheffield, the Englishman will join the Owls, now managed by Carlos Carvalhal, on a season-long loan.

It is also understood that Wednesday are close to signing free agent Demy De Zeeuw, who last played for NAC Breda in the Eredivisie.
