Goalless between Toulouse, Lyon

Lyon missed the chance to move level on points with Saint-Etienne in fourth this evening as they played out a goalless draw at Toulouse.

Home side Toulouse were the first to threaten through Wissam Ben Yedder, who fizzed across goal and just wide before Serge Aurier also went close.

Lyon ended the first half on top, with Jimmy Briand and Alexandre Lacazette going close.

After half time, Maxime Gonalons headed Arnold Mvuemba's corner just wide before Toulouse came within of breaking the deadlock when Ben Yedder struck the post.

Toulouse were the team closest to a winner in the dying stages when they struck the woodwork for a second time through Martin Braithwaite.

A point sees Lyon move to within two of Saint-Etienne, while Toulouse go level on points with eighth-placed Reims.
