Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper named League One Manager of the Month

Swindon Town boss Mark Cooper has been named League One Manager of the Month for November.

The Robins were beaten by MK Dons at the start of the month before posting four consecutive victories to keep their promotion bid on track.

Their most memorable result in that run was a 1-0 win at home to Bristol City, ending their local rivals' unbeaten start to the season.

Swindon also recorded triumphs over Preston North End, Peterborough United and Fleetwood Town.

Cooper saw off competition from MK Dons's Karl Robinson, Scunthorpe United's Mark Robins and Dean Smith of Walsall to land the award.
