Daniel Majstorovic out for the season

Celtic defender Daniel Majstorovic has been ruled out for the remainder of the season with a cruciate ligament injury.

The 34-year-old sustained the problem during a training session with Sweden ahead of their friendly against Croatia tomorrow evening.

Swedish broadcaster SVT have revealed that Majstorovic injured his left knee in a clash with midfielder Anders Svensson.

The complaint is expected to rule the centre-back out of Sweden's Euro 2012 campaign this summer.
