Alan Tate returns to Crewe Alexandra

Crewe Alexandra have completed the re-signing of Alan Tate on loan from Swansea City for the remainder of the season.

The 32-year-old originally joined Crewe on a 93-day emergency loan deal back in September, but that expired last month and he returned to his Premier League parent club.

However, following negotiations, the centre-back has returned to Gresty Road, where he will stay for the rest of the campaign.

During his first stint with the League One club, Tate made seven appearances.
