Swansea fail with Jones bid?

Swansea City are reported to have failed with a £3m bid for Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones.

The 28-year-old Trinidad and Tobago international currently has 18 months left on his contract at the Britannia Stadium.

However, Potters boss Tony Pulis is believed to want around £4.5m for the forward, according to The Telegraph.

Jones joined Stoke from Sunderland in the summer of 2010 for £8m.
