Brendan Rodgers has transfer wishlist

Brendan Rodgers reveals that he has already highlighted a number of players as possible additions to his Swansea squad in the summer.

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers has revealed that he already has a list of potential transfer targets ahead of the summer window.

The Wales-based outfit have mathematically secured their top-flight safety with two games still remaining in their debut Premier League season.

Rodgers now has one eye on possible arrivals for next year and has highlighted a number of players who he believes can help continue the club's progression.

"We have got a number of targets, we want to retain our hunger and at this level you have to always be striving to improve and we will be looking to bring in a number of players in order to do that," said Rodgers.

"We want to keep developing, our work is continual on and off the field. We want to prepare as quickly as we can and in order to do that we want to bring in hungry players for next season."

Rodgers remained coy when questioned on the future of loan star Gylfi Sigurdsson, with reports claiming that the Swans have had a bid rejected by the midfielder's parent club Hoffenheim.

Sigurdsson is also thought to be a target of Manchester United and has been linked with a £10m move to Old Trafford.
