Michu wants Swansea City to sign Liverpool's Iago Aspas on loan

Swansea City forward Michu has admitted that he wants the club to sign Liverpool outcast Iago Aspas on loan in January.

The 26-year-old has failed to force his way into the Reds' first team since arriving in the summer, but Michu has insisted that he would be welcomed by all the Spanish players at Swansea.

"We are hoping he can come here on loan," The Mirror quotes Michu as saying. "It would be a pleasure to play with him. Iago has had injuries, but he has quality. He deserves to play in the Premier League."

The Swans are currently 10th in the league table.
