Championship trio 'want Fleetwood Town midfielder Kyle Dempsey'

Swansea City are reportedly one of three Championship clubs interested in Fleetwood Town midfielder Kyle Dempsey.

Derby County and Huddersfield Town have also been linked with the 24-year-old, who has delivered a number of impressive performances for Joey Barton's side this season.

Football Insider reports that the three teams are looking to make January moves for the dynamic midfielder, who has started Fleetwood's last six games in League One.

Dempsey's contract at Highbury expires at the end of this season, meaning that the Trawlermen might consider cashing in during the upcoming transfer window.

A Carlisle United youth product, the Cumbria-born midfielder has made 123 appearances for Fleetwood since initially joining from Huddersfield in 2016.
