Ashley Williams a target for Napoli?

Swansea City's Ashley Williams is wanted by Serie A side Napoli, rumours suggest.

The defender, who is rated at around £5m, played against Rafael Benitez's side in the Swans' Europa League defeat.

His performances in the two legs reportedly impressed Benitez, and agents working for Napoli have been told to broker a deal, The Mirror reports.

Williams, who has a year left on his contract, joined Swansea from Stockport County in 2008.
