Pablo Hernandez confident of Swansea City survival

Pablo Hernandez is confident that Swansea City have what it takes to stay in the Premier League this season.

Swansea City winger Pablo Hernandez has insisted that the team is good enough to stay in the Premier League this season.

The Swans are currently four points above the relegation zone with eight games left to play following a run of five matches without a win.

However, Hernandez believes that there is enough confidence at the Liberty Stadium to keep him and his teammates in the top flight.

"When I speak to the other players, I say 'I know this season is very long because we've played a lot of games in Europa, the FA Cup and the Capital One Cup'," he told the South Wales Evening Post.

"It is not easy for one team to play a season like this. But the team is confident. The team have played well.

"Now the thing is staying in the Premier League. The football is good, the confidence is good and I think we can do it."

Swansea continue their Premier League campaign tonight when they make the trip to Arsenal.
