Swansea City captain Ashley Williams has praised manager Garry Monk after the club matched their highest ever points tally in the Premier League.
The Swans drew 1-1 with Everton on Saturday to reach 47 points as Jonjo Shelvey's second-half penalty earned them a point at the Liberty Stadium.
As a result of equalling their best points tally, Williams has praised the approach of Monk in the transfer market and his tactics on matchday to get the best for his team.
"I think anyone that watches us regularly will say this is the best team and squad we've had, certainly since I've been here," Williams told Sky Sports News.
"The quality throughout the squad is good because the gaffer has done a good job in January and the summer to bring in players. The all-round quality and the way we work in training, the shape we work on, is better.
"We can play different formations and we've got very intelligent players in the team. The main thing is the structure of the staff set-up and the players."
Swansea are eighth in the Premier League on 47 points with six games remaining this season.
