Gylfi Sigurdsson hails "fantastic day"

Swansea City's loanee midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson has described his side's 1-0 win over Manchester City as a "fantastic day".

The Icelandic midfielder also highlighted his defensive teammates and goalscorer Luke Moore as the key players to the victory.

"It was very good, obviously we got the three points against a massive team and that was the most important thing," Sigurdsson told talkSPORT.

"We defended well at times but Luke [Moore] came on and got the winning goal to make it a fantastic day for us."

The three points lifted Swansea up to 11th in the Premier League table.
