Garry Monk cautious over Michu return

Swansea City manager Garry Monk has revealed that Michu could feature in Saturday's Premier League encounter with West Bromwich Albion.

The Spanish forward has been sidelined with an ankle problem since the middle of December.

Despite claiming that he could be named in the squad, Monk is doubtful that Michu will be in the starting XI against the Baggies.

"I would say at this stage that Michu has a chance," he is quoted as saying by WalesOnline.

"He trained both days over the weekend and then had a rest on Monday, but he will be working from now on. And if he trains well over the next few days, he has definitely got a chance of being involved.

"He won't be starting I wouldn't have thought, but you never know."

Michu has scored six goals in 19 games for Swansea this season.
