Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that he was satisfied with his side's 0-0 draw with Malmo this evening.
The Swans booked their place in the Europa League playoff with a 4-0 aggregate win over the Swedish side, having comfortably won the first leg at the Liberty Stadium last Thursday.
Laudrup did concede that his side were not at their best going forward, but believes that the confidence they would have picked up from another clean sheet will help them in their opening match of the Premier League season against Manchester United next weekend.
"I am satisfied overall. We are through to the next round. We knew we were almost there and I think it was a professional performance," PA quotes Laudrup as saying.
"They had a good chance in the opening moments but we dominated the game and had good opportunities. From these two games we have two clean sheets and have not given our opponent many chances. If we want to find something negative, we did not play that well offensively. We have to do much better in that area but when you play away you can't always dominate and clean sheets are very important.
"I am very happy with that. Next week it's Manchester United in the Premier League, but when you have that confidence it is important for the whole team, not just goalkeepers and defenders."
The Europa League playoff draw will take place at midday tomorrow.
