Michael Laudrup says that Michu has not done damage to his ligaments.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has revealed that the injury to Michu is not as bad as first feared.

The Spanish attacker was forced off in Saturday's 0-0 draw away to Reading in what looked to be a nasty injury.

However, Laudrup has confirmed that the club doctors have said that his ligaments were not damaged.

"I talked to the doctor and physio after the game and they said that Michu's ligaments should be okay," Laudrup told BBC Sport.

"That's the most important thing. We'll see how many days he'll have to rest."

The point has put Swansea back into the top half.
