Swansea City head coach Paul Clement claims that he still has the full backing of his players despite the club's poor form in the Premier League.

Swansea City head coach Paul Clement has claimed that he continues to have "a positive dressing room", despite the club's poor form in the Premier League.

A run of one point from seven games has left Swansea sitting at the bottom of the league table, and doubts have inevitably been raised over whether Clement will be able to keep his job at the Liberty Stadium.

However, Clement has insisted that he has the full support of his players, and has backed his first-team squad to quickly get another victory on the board.

The 45-year-old told reporters: "I have no doubt the players are behind me. I have enough experience to know when a dressing room is behind me and when it is not. It is a positive dressing room. We just have to find that little ingredient that will get us a win.

"The fans in the last home game were brilliant. The atmosphere was really positive, compared to some recent games where it hasn't been. They have a really important part to play.

"I would say the majority are with the team at the moment. It's a time to all put together; ownership, chairman, players, me, and fans."

A recent report has claimed that the Swans hierarchy are prepared to give Clement another transfer window in order to try to improve their fortunes.
