Swansea City manager Francesco Guidolin has revealed that Andre Ayew should be fit to face Chelsea next weekend.
The 26-year-old has missed the Swans' last two games with an ankle injury, and will be forced to watch on from the sidelines once again when his side travel to Stoke City on Saturday.
However, Guidolin is expecting the striker to be back available after that, although he is less sure on the fitness of Jefferson Montero and Modou Barrow following their international exploits with Ecuador and Gambia respectively.
"[Ayew] is not fit. He is getting better, but is not ready for Saturday. He could be ready for the game against Chelsea," Guidolin told reporters.
"It has not been an easy period with so many players away at many games. It is not easy for a club manager because many players are away in many different places.
"Montero and Barrow, I have not seen them yet. They train tomorrow morning, and then we have a match on Saturday. It is not an easy moment, but it is like this for all clubs."
Meanwhile, Guidolin also brushed off speculation linking Brendan Rodgers with a return to the Liberty Stadium.
