Angel Rangel says that Swansea City do not need any motivation as they look to secure their second win over Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium this season.

Swansea City defender Angel Rangel has urged his teammates to create history by knocking Arsenal out of the FA Cup on Wednesday.

The Swans square off against the Gunners in their FA Cup third-round replay, having drawn 2-2 at the Liberty Stadium earlier this month.

The Welsh outfit have already tasted victory at the Emirates Stadium this season and, after beating Chelsea in the Capital One Cup last week, Rangel is keen on registering another famous win.

"We have another chance to make more history and it's important we try to use it as another step forward," said Rangel. "It's a very exciting game, another big one in what has been an exciting few weeks.

"We don't need any motivation. We are going to the Emirates, where we have great memories from the last time, and hopefully we can have another great result. We can take confidence from the last result there but not only that — before we went there we beat Newcastle and felt so comfortable away.

"The Capital One Cup is right now the most important, but winning at Arsenal would be another massive achievement and, if we can do that, we can grow even more belief."

The winners of the tie will travel to face Brighton & Hove Albion in the fourth round.
