Gino Peruzzi agrees Sunderland move

Velez Sarsfield have confirmed that they have agreed a deal to sell Gino Peruzzi to Sunderland.

The 21-year-old Argentine is due to undergo a medical with the Premier League club on Thursday.

"Velez Sarsfield and Sunderland Association Football Club have reached an agreement to transfer the player Gino Peruzzi," read an official Velez statement.

Peruzzi recently revealed that he was still interested in a move to the Black Cats after rejecting a deal earlier this week.
