Connor Wickham undergoes Sunderland medical

Connor Wickham is expected to undergo a medical for Sunderland today.

Ipswich Town are understood to have accepted an offer of £9m, plus up to a further £4m in add-ons, for the 18-year-old.

Liverpool had shown strong interest in the striker, with an asking price of around £10m, over the past month. Arsenal have also had their eye on the player.

Wickham has scored 15 goals in 72 appearances for the Tractor Boys since joining in 2009.
