Bolton can give their Premier League survival hopes a huge boost with a win against Sunderland at the Stadium of Light this weekend.

Bolton Wanderers would give their Premier League survival hopes a huge boost with a win at Sunderland this weekend.

The Trotters can pick up their second consecutive league victory on Saturday following midweek's triumph at Aston Villa.

Three points for Owen Coyle's side would lift them out of the relegation zone with a game in hand on the teams around them.

Meanwhile, the Black Cats can extend their unbeaten run to six matches if they avoid defeat on home turf.

Sunderland will be without Sebastien Larsson and Kieran Richardson after the duo both recently underwent surgery, while Craig Gardner is suspended.

Chris Eagles and Ryo Miyachi are both doubts for Bolton with minor knocks, but are expected to feature.

Current form:

Sunderland: WDDLDD
Bolton: LWLLDW

Possible lineups:

Sunderland: Mignolet; Bardsley, Turner, Kilgallon, O'Shea; Vaughan, Meyler, Colback, McClean; Sessegnon, Bendtner

Bolton: Bogdan; Steinsson, Ricketts, Wheater, Ream; Eagles, Petrov, M Davies, Reo-Coker, Miyachi; Ngog

Sports Mole says: 1-1
