Robbie Stockdale has been named as interim manager of Sunderland for the second time.
The 38-year-old, who previously took caretaker charge of the Black Cats in 2015, will take the helm again while the club's takeover is ratified by the Football League.
"Sunderland AFC can confirm Robbie Stockdale will take charge of the club's final Sky Bet Championship game of the season," read a statement on the club's website.
"The coach will also oversee the first team's preparations ahead of the game against Wolverhampton Wanderers following Chris Coleman's departure."
Manager Coleman and his assistant Kit Symons were dismissed by the relegated Championship club shortly after the takeover was announced.
