Martin O'Neill reveals that he is planning to rotate his playing squad between now and the end of the season.

Martin O'Neill has revealed that he is planning to rotate his playing squad during the remaining four games of the Premier League season.

The boss believes that giving some of his fringe players the opportunity to feature in the starting lineup will provide him with a clearer indication of what positions he needs to strengthen during the summer.

"For us to strengthen, of course, we would have to look at it," O'Neill told the Press Association. "I wouldn't mind some of the younger players who probably under match conditions, I maybe don't know enough about.

"No matter how young you are or no matter how old you are, you have to deserve to be in the side.

"It's a balancing act at the moment where I have got to just maybe look at the bigger picture."

O'Neill's side are currently ninth in the Premier League table.
