Sunderland manager Martin O'Neill has hailed new signing Carlos Cuellar for fitting into the Black Cats team with ease.
The Spaniard signed a two-year deal with the North East outfit earlier this month after being released by Premier League rivals Aston Villa.
"It's just a case of him getting used to the players," O'Neill told the club's official website. "He's settled in admirably over the few days he's been here. He's enjoying being at the football club and I hope he has a great season and a great time with us."
The defender completed 30 minutes in Sunderland's 1-0 defeat to Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma in the peace cup yesterday.
